I can can't figure out why I'm using up 84 mb of storage for pics and video. Everything has been uploaded to cloud, then deleted from the device. I've even wiped the system cache partition in recovery mode.

It's probably due to thumbnails in /DCIM/.thumbnails. It's a database that the system builds for all of the images.

That did come up in a Google search. I installed Ghost Commander--deleted .thumbnails, but it didn't do the trick.

Figured it out. Plugged the phone into my laptop and went hunting through the phones directories.

    Internalstorage>Pictures>cache>com.google.android.googlephotos

Then deleted all the picasa-cache directories. That's it.
