Just got a Nexus 5 after a 2 year contract with a Galaxy S2

Im using Handsent SMS (have been for a number of years), and have noticed a difference in the notifications on the Nexus and S2

If I had my headphones or FM sender in the S2 and got a text, the notificaton sound would play over the headphones/FM sender, not so on the Nexus, it just vibrates

Now I cannot recall if I just had the S2 set up differently, or the Nexus works differently, anyone got any ideas ?

I noticed something similar recently - not related to Handsent but to other notifications (Email? WhatsApp? EvolveSMS? I can't say for certain which just now). Anyway, it only began with 4.4.3 or 4.4.4

Anyone else?

I use Hangouts and it always routes the notification to my headphones.
