Camera use sometimes kills my N5 and it won't boot

Sometimes, not always, taking a picture will shut down my N5 suddenly and it will NOT boot -- nothing happens. This happens regardless of batterly charge level. I tried the simultaneous Vol up, Vol down, and power button, but it won't revive. But if I stick it on a charger, wireless or otherwise, for a second or two, then it will boot and battery shows normal. I have a new battery, it's not rooted and running latest Android (6.0.1) and Feb 1 security update. Any ideas on resolving this annoying problem (I now carry along a power bank just to recover from this problem)?

Thanks, I'll try that and report back. If it is some other app, how would I go about finding out which one (I have 50-100 apps)?

That's always tough to tell. I'd start with apps that have Camera permission (like social media apps, and also flashlight apps, since the LED flash is part of the Camera).
