Re: Anyone worried about it being too big?

This is my first note phone, but when I had my HTC m7 I'd look at the note line and think wow those phones are massive.. but now I look at an HTC m7 and I'm like that phone is too small, so I guess I got used to the size and I'm all for it

There was a 5s next to the 6+ I was testing out at best buy. It looked like a child's toy, it was so small in comparison. I can easily see getting used to the size.

Re: Anyone worried about it being too big?

This is also a guy who prefers the size of the old Moto X to the new Moto X. Of course it's too big for him. The only opinions on size I'm personally interested in are from those who prefer a Note-sized device.

Well that's the point that I can see his concern; I too have small hands and the old Moto X is a great size. However, since I have not tried having a large phone/phablet as my daily driver, I'm not making judgment on the Nexus 6 yet. I'm going to get it and give it a few weeks try.

Re: Anyone worried about it being too big?

I think I can handle the size, it's the heft/balance that I am wondering about. I held a friend's S5 briefly, and hated it. Hopefully a phone this big is well balanced and feels good in the hand.

Re: Anyone worried about it being too big?

I am looking forward to handling it. I had the Note 3 and the size never bothered me, in fact I liked it because there was more screen real estate for text. It made it easier for me with my eyes. It also has a curved back so that will make it snuggle in your hand. I have always used my phone two handed regardless of the size. I always use the phone in landscape when I text a message using both thumbs. This is the phone I have been waiting for...

Re: Anyone worried about it being too big?

It's 1mm taller than the iPhone 6 Plus, about 3mm wider, and about 2mm thicker in the middle. Go to Best Buy, or your local carrier store, and pop a few armor cases for the 6 Plus out of their package and that is roughly the size the Nexus 6 will be. The empty cases will lack the weight, obviously, but it will still give you an idea of the overall size.

At that size I think I'll be able to get a phone case that will also allow me to double it as a wallet. If I can eliminate my wallet, the price difference shouldn't be problem. Now, we just need a good nexus 6 case....

Portenzo made some great wallet cases for the Nexus 5, and I'd expect them to make similar for the Nexus 6. These are not inexpensive cases by any means, but the quality of the customer service, quality of leather, design, and workmanship is as good as it gets - and made in USA. Also, a variety of really classy options.
