Upon receiving my new Nexus 6 last night and swapping my nano SIM from my iPhone 6 everything worked fine for voice and LTE data. The one problem that is present is that I can't use Google Voice's voicemail system. After some troubleshooting with Verizon tech support over the phone, its determined that I have to go to a Verizon store to activate a new nano SIM in one of their Android devices then put it into my Nexus 6. This will allow the code for the free visual voicemail that comes with iPhones to drop off my account and then let me use Google Voice as my voicemail system like I have always done on Android phones. The *71, *90, *92 codes way of doing it doesn't work. Tried it many times.

Just a heads up to fellow Verizon Nexus 6 owners that may be trying to do the same thing. I'll report back after the store visit.
