Buying a Nexus 6 via Craigslist. Seller claims used for developing. Photos of the device doesn't have nexus logo on back cover. Does a device exist? Is it legit?

There is no "developer" edition. The Play Store Nexus 6 is as pure as you can get, and it is what developers use. Sounds sketchy to me if it doesn't have Nexus logo. I wouldn't buy it.

Sounds very shadey. Use swappa (where you can dispute payments through PayPal if needed) or just buy new.

If a seller claims it was "used for developing", then he or she could be referring to things such as app or rom development. Does the ad specifically state "developer edition"? Also, the no logo on the back could just be a skin that covered up the letters.
