You know what I saw that thank you. I switch it to the month view widget doing promises when you close an end date it just brings you to the Google Calendar widget and then when you click on a date with agenda Google Calendar widgets it brings up the agenda of you which isn't really helping unfortunately.

Month Calendar Widget (MCW) shows a small month view calendar & is great for a quick glance. It takes up very little space on the screen. I keep the stock calendar icon next to it, so when I need to see more detail, I just open stock. Event Flow Calendar Widget is also nice agenda view

Still can't believe that there is no integration of tasks in Google calendar. I use Cal from any. Do

I like the Sunrise calendar widget too. I'll check out Sol Calendar.

Big fan of Sunrise Calendar as well, though I wish the widget scrolled further ahead on the widget.

I've been using Pure Grid Calendar. Scrollable monthly view with integrated Google calendar and task apps. Like to keep it all together in 1 widget as much as possible.

Not free, but worth it. Regular updates and responsive developer.
I also use Pure Calendar for a scrollable agenda widget. Same developer.

Our family uses the cozi calendar .ballows us to all sync up and see what's happening. Also gives us a shopping list . we like it.
