Need 2 functionality. Any advice?

Hi all,

I want to have two features on my N6. Tap to turn on/off screen and displaying remaining in %.

Can any one suggest any app or other way to do this? I DON'T WANT TO ROOT THE PHONE.
Also does installing any such app will drain the battery quickly?

Display remaining in percentage sure but for tap to wake you need root

Tap to turn on/off screen requires a custom kernel.

I use swipe 2 wake/sleep at the kernel level and it's fantastic (DT2W is an option, I prefer swiping). It doesn't use any measurable battery. Without rooting you're limited to apps in the play store. They will use some extra battery and most likely be inconsistent. I'm assuming you are talking about displaying remaining battery percentage. You can do that stock on Marshmallow 6.0. Swipe down from the notification bar twice. In the right corner you will see a gear shape shortcut to settings, hold it down for a bit until it spins. One of the unlocked settings is to show battery percentage.
