Ummm... OK? haha. You did post this in the Nexus 6 forum, so I guess you did find it!

We actually add forums for new devices even when the rumors start to flow, so chances are there would be a forum for a reputable phone a few months before it's released and sometimes a few weeks before it's even announced.

Are you using the Android Central App? I've read some reports from members saying that some forums disappeared from the list. If that's your case clear cache from the app settings and restart. This usually fixed the problem.

Your Nexus 6 WAS NOT manufactured in JAN 2016! NO WAY! Maybe your Nexus 6P was manufactured in 2016, but the N6 was manufactured in 2015.

I'm not sure if you can find exact information about manufacture date, but BartmanJax's comment is correct - the Motorola Nexus 6 is discontinued and inventory has been getting cleared out in big sales (I got mine on Amazon's Black Friday sale) from major retailers. Manufacturing likely stopped in Q1 or Q2 2015.

With the phone off, press and hold the VOL DOWN button and press the POWER button. You should be in BOOTLOADER mode. Using the volume keys, press up or down till you get to BARCODES. Press the POWER button. The third barcode down should be your build date. Mine is 12-19-2014.

To exit, press either the VOL UP or VOL DOWN button. Scroll back to START and press the POWER button to restart your phone.

I'm very surprised they kept making them after the 6P was announced. *scratches head* My Q1/Q2 guess was assuming they had some kind of knowledge of when a replacement model would be coming, and that they would end production before that time so as to not have a lot of leftover inventory of an "old" model.

Probably the fact that there are lots of parts still left over and how popular the N6 is......assembling a few more even after model replacement is not hurting Moto. Either way........it's a win win for Moto and consumers with this phone!
