Swype keyboad size issue

for a short time after I installed it, the keyboard was small and easy to use. after a little while, it got as big as the regular keyboard. can't find any way to reduce the size. help!

After shutting down and restarting swipe started out in the small mode. Then I turned the Nexus to landscape it went large and when I went back to portrait it stays large. Any ideas?

I'm not experiencing this issue. You downloaded your installer directly from the Swype | Text Input for Screens site?

I just downloaded that one to be sure. Same issue--is full width

The only way to get it small again after landscape is to switch keyboard to standard and then back to Swype and avoid landscape
