Just got a Nexus 7 8gb and I can't get it to connect to my home network. I connected to a hotspot on the way home, but no luck at home. It goes back and forth from "connecting" to "authenticating". Sometimes it says "disconnected", other times"authentication failed".

Its a Quest router that has allowed my laptop and Xbox to connect. On the other hand I have these same problems with my LG Optimus phone. It fails to connect to my home network as well.

Please help.

Make sure it's running at 2.4GHz (the N7 doesn't support 5GHz).

Also try TKIP+AES if you only have one enabled. AES has better security because TKIP has been cracked...

Check your password for special characters as well. For some reason android, as a Linux based system, can encode special characters differently than Windows. I had an issues with a bar in my router password before.

I've been having the same issues. I read somewhere it could be a jellybean bug?

Still can't get tablet talk to pair with my S3 :(
