Is there also a google group for support?

I unlocked the screen orientation but still on the home screen and in gallery it will not rotate to landscape view. What gives? Thanks!

This is normal. Jelly Bean was designed with phones in mind, so the home screen is locked to "portrait" view, unfortunately. Gallery works in landscape view, so I'm not sure why yours won't.

You can unlock the home screen for landscape viewing if you root your Nexus 7. If not, there are replacement launchers that will allow for landscape view on the home screen. There is also a paid app that will unlock this feature without rooting your device.

Homescreen will not rotate without a hack. Google decided we didn't need to rotate the homescreen because it's a big phone without a cellular radio, not a small tablet.

Hmm Let the people decide what is good for them? I find holding in landscape is more comfortable. (Gallery does work sorry)

Try Apex Launcher, its free, allows landscape mode, and much more customizable homescreen.
