All -- been doing quite a bit of research here and not coming up with a good answer so I thought i would post this scenario to this forum for some help:

Scenario:

1) Dish remote access application is installed and working corrected
2) Access DVR recordings or Live TV via the dishnetwork app enabled via a
sling adapted VIP722 receiver (tested and confirmed... I have successfully
done this with my nexus 7 via the Dish Remote Access app from Google Play)

What I want to do:

- Stream whatever is playing on my Nexus 7 via the Dish Remote Access
application to my TV via a HD wifi media streamer.
- Looking for recommendation on which Wifi to HDMI adapters I should consider buying.. needs to be small and light
- Looking for an app that can support Wifi only or peer to peer to work with the HD media streamer

I can't seem to get a consensus recommendation. It is clear easy to stream netflix, etc via any number of apps but I can't find anyone that can just display the tablet desktop.

Engadget did a review and suggested that the HTC Media Link HD might be the adapter I need but it did not seem as if the Wi-Fi Media app could just show my desktop -- only web based/network based or local based media. (ref: Wi-Fi Media lets your Nexus 7 play movies on any screen via HTC's Media Link HD (hands-on video) -- Engadget )

Thoughts?
