So I just purchased my nexus 7. I really like it but it came barely charged. I tried using my mophie powerstation to charge it, but it didn't work. Does anyone know if the hyperjuice battery packs work with the nexus?

Ya but I was hoping to use the mophie when I'm not near an outlet. I was wondering if someone knew of a similar product that will work with the N7.

The Nexus 7 only indicates charging on dumb chargers when the data pins are shorted, as per the USB spec, however it will charge anyway when plugged in even if it doesn't indicate it is charging (which it shouldn't really do). Have you left it plugged into your Mophie to see if it does actually charge the Nexus 7?

@retsaw

It doesn't seem like it does. There isn't any battery activity from the N7 in the status bar, and when I go to settings it says "discharging".

Whatever it says it may be charging anyway. Leave it plugged it for 20 minutes or so when you aren't using it and see if the Nexus 7's battery level increases.
