Stock Gallery dose not refresh (update) photos

I put some photos to the DCIM\camera and download folders but Gallery dose not show them, even after i refresh the app. I also clear cache and clear data Gallery's info page, still no luck. I should i do? please help. Thank you !!

Reboot did the job.
Re-index works automatically when:

1. Taking pics from the stock camera.
2. Download and save images to the download folder
3. Transfer images from PC.
4. Take screenshots.

but not for transfer images using file manager app even the images show up after transferring. Strange !!
