Just got a new Nexus 7. Need protection.

What would be a good case to keep my nexus 7 protected? I bought a Samsung galaxy tab 7.1 case from office max for it right now.

I bought the moko slim fit case off amazon.com and have been very pleased with it. More than I expected for a sub $15 case actually.

I just bought the Poetic Slimbook Leather Case. I travel a lot and wanted it to fit inside a pocket and didn't want it to be detachable. There are a few companies that make one like this, but this one was on sale today.

I got a Fosmon screen protector for $7 at New Egg. I didn't realize it was cheap at Amazon. I also got a World Shopping white case for $9. A lot of cases change prices quickly.

It helps to decide what features you want first, then look for the case that fits your needs:

- screen protection?
- act as a stand? in landscape, portrait, or both?
- do you want a place to put a stylus?

I personally wanted something as minimal as possible, but with screen protection and could act as a stand in landscape, and the poetic slimcase has been excellent.

There are tons of great cases on amzn, it just depends on your lifestyle and how you use the tablet. At home I just use a cheap TPU case, outside I use a keyboard case. A screen protector and a stylus are worthwhile investments Imo, but some protectors can slightly degrade screen quality.
