I mean, I know the thing was only $200 bucks when I got it, but still. Bummer they're only covering the 16gb. I sent in a request anyway tho, I suggest others to do the same, maybe they'll listen!

How did you send a request straight to Google or through play store cause I'm in the same situation only I'm in Australia and we also had to pay 50 bucks extra on top for tax reasons or something

At the time we bought our 8gb models it seemed a great deal, well the news is it was a great deal, I love mine, it was all I could afford at the time and like all bits of technology I knew that in time they would become cheaper and better - that is true of any computer, phone etc you buy. I have since bought a 64gb flash drive and an OTG cable total cost about ?15, I have loads of films, music, documents etc on the flash drive and plenty of room on my Nexus for games, apps etc. I certainly won't be complaining to Google for selling this brilliant piece of kit to me for ?159.00.

I paid $199 cash minus $25 Play store credit , minus $10 placed on Google wallet to test out NFC...That means My 8g tablet cost me $164. I just don't think I can complain.
