..I think that date was rumored because it syncs with the release of the Nexus 4, right?

Other rumors point to "middle of November".

I would also think the "13th" depends on where the google servers are located.....

The 13th is the release date for the Nexus 4. Phil said that 4.2 for the Nexus 7 would follow a few weeks later.

Good luck with the update tomorrow, we'll get it at some point but don't hold your breath. Could take up several weeks if not more...

According to a couple of outlets, it's on the download servers and has started rolling out.

When can people like me who live in Korea expect this update to download onto our Nexus 7's?

Some people have said they are getting OTA and Android Police put up an article that lets you do it manually. For those interested of course...

    P.S. I haven't gotten anything OTA yet.

it is almost 12:30 here and still no OTA. :-(
i wonder if there are any tricks to start kick the OTA?
not in the mood to "manually" update, would rather wait for the OTA.

For some people, clearing the Google services framework helped with the last OTA. But, honestly, if you're going to fiddle around with that you might as well take a couple of extra minutes and do the manual install. You'll get it immediately.

Currently running 4.2 on my nexus 7.

Can't see any benefit whatsoever. The new user switching would probably come in handy for a lot of people but I don't share mine with anyone.

If I remember right, the last OTA update was spread out over 2-3 days, judging by the post on this forum.

Interesting article was recently posted that Google Voice does NOT work on 4.2. I use it ALL the time on my phone but no so much on my tablet so it is no biggie for me.

So I did the update and the home screen looks like it is now at a different DPI and the dock icons on Nova Launcher do not work. Is it possible I DLed 4.2 for the Nexus phone and not tablet?
