I have a 2010 Kia soul and I can't make music play via blue tooth connection. Pandora says it does, but none of my apps play through the bt. I'm assuming it's the car. Does anyone else have this issue?

Most cars have BT connectivity for a phone, not for music.

My 2011 Altima with the Bose system is the same way. Phone calls, but no music.

Bluetooth streaming audio is a different protocol than Bluetooth for phone pairing. Does your Kia manual say anything about streaming audio? If not, then I think you're outta luck.

With my RAZR MAXX, you have to enable Bluetooth on phone, pair with SOUL, and start playing music on phone. It will play through your sound system.

I haven't tried on the Nexus 7, but assume it is the same.

I have a 2011 Exclaim.

Thanks everyone. My car manual just talks about phone calls, not audio. I tried pairing like sdicomp suggested, but no luck. I guess it won't work.

Also check with your dealer, many times there are software updates for the cars audio system that enable things like this.
