My daughter (7 yrs) has a Nexus 7 from Santa, great bit of kit which she is really into the swing of. However, I'm finding that links/shortcuts are appearing on the "desktop" and these generally seem to be website links, quite often to dating sites, other age inappropriate drivel or to other Apps (ie The Hobbit)! How do I stop these occuring, we've put on several Apps (how many can there be that feature Barbie?!) and the usual big names like Temple Run and Angry Birds. Obviously (especially with the free Apps) there will be Ads that appear within the software but these Internet links are causing me the most worry. She has also now discovered the joy of Youtube and is currently watching lots of Barbie or Mermaid themed videos, is there a way of applying automatic control/filtering of this content. I downloaded Funamo yesterday but have not had opportunity to set it up, is this the best/only solution or can someone recommend an alternative approach.

Thanks in advance
