Yes, my first post and not that familiar with Android so I may not be using the correct terminology (which could be why I don't see an answer when I search). I requested access to my companies email server and after setting it up, it forced my Nexus 7 into some sort of secure mode where I have to enter a password every time. Other thins like the front facing camera is disabled, I am unable to set up the face recognition login. When powering the unit on, I am prompted to type a password to decrypt storage.

So it seems that in order to use my device to access my work email, they are forcing me to make my personal device, their device. I guess I need to understand how to undo what I did. Maybe some sort of factory reset...

The device is essentially new so I wont loose anything with a reset.

Any ideas?

first disable the encryption. they have enabled encryption thats why its in secure mode. asking for password and face unlock is disabled etc etc..

go to settings-->security--> there will be a option to disable encryption.

then do a factory reset
