I was wondering if there was a way to transfer all my data from 1 nexus to another. The reason im asking is because the battery life on my nexus is so bad and my charger slot is slowly breaking so I was going to return it on its warrenty. When I say my data I mean my photos, apps, music and books. Cheers

You should connect your N7 to a pc and copy the contents of your internal storage to the pc. You don't need to copy apps because they can be installed again when you sign into your gmail and play store accounts.

As the previous respondent indicated, it's probably easiest to back up your personal items to a PC. If your USB cable connection is fragile, try using the AirDroid app for wireless transfers. It uses the Web browser on your computer as the interface, and works quite well. The app is free.

If you also want to copy your app data (settings, game scores, and everything that would be lost after a fresh install of an app), try Helium App Sync and Backup. It does not require root access, which makes it useful to the average (unrooted) user. The premium version lets you sync between two Android devices, plus allows cloud backups, as opposed to backing up only to your computer.

There are likely many other apps in the Play Store that would make data transfers easier.
