Mac to Nexus 7 data/movie transfer

Hello all,
New to the Nexus and also own a Mac. I have downloaded and installed the android file transfer loader.
However when I drag files in they load in the Mac screen but either don't transfer to the Nexus 7 or I just can't find the movie on the Nexus 7?

Do I need to alter the file?
Or is it something completely different?
Any help, tips, assistance greatly appreciated!!

Hmm. I pretty new to Android myself, but I've not had an issue with Mac and the Android File Transfer. The only possible difference is that I may have copy/pasted into the applicable folders (Movies, Music, etc) rather than dragged, but I can't see that would make a difference. Both Play Movies & TV and Play Music, seem to be able to 'see' and playback - though in truth, I've since moved to MX Player PRO for my video and GoneMAD for music (and neither have an issue either).

Sorry, no pearls of wisdom here.
