Is there a way to add my email address to the dictionary or somehow else limit the number of keystrokes needed to type my email address?

I'm not sure if the stock keyboard allows you to set your own 'shortcuts' or not... If it is it might be under Custom Autocorrection or Autocomplete settings. In any case, other keyboard apps do let you do this, like SmartKeyboard. Unfortunately, that's IMHO the ONE missing keypoint to everyone's favorite keyboard, SwiftKey.

I read an article about this topic on AC. Do a search on AC.
I also agree with +spookdroid that it needs to be added to SwiftKey.

Go to Settings, Language and Input, then tap the settings icon for Google Keyboard, then Personal Dictionary. Tap the plus sign and add your phrase and shortcut. Enjoy.
