Hi all and apologies in advance. I have been in computers since the old (like me!) Commodore Vic20 but I am totally, absolutely a newbie to Android. Paracetamol consumption is increasing dramatically. I bought the Nexus to assist in some photographic projects for next year when I have retired so I am just learning it at the moment. I sussed photo transfer etc pdq but I just can't see what I am doing wrong with clock/weather apps.
I have downloaded a few to the Nexus and they are all almost identical, nothing at all like the views in Google Play. All I seem to get is a new wallpaper with weather details on it as an individual page. Nothing I change in settings has any effect whatsoever. I guess this is probably one of those "duhh" questions but what am I missing here folks, and, do they all have that Google Ads bar at the bottom?
