Nexus 7 v2 32 gb: Does your charger make click when you pull out USB cord?

I just got a nexus 7 second version 32 gb. I like the tablet. One thing I did notice was that the charging cube makes a funny noise when I pull out usb cord. It almost feels like the metal end of the usb cord is caught on something, or the sound you would here moving your fingernail across a thick comb. It appears to charge ok. On the Iphone usb cube, it does not make the same sound when pulling out cord. Any ideas? Is this normal?
