Low benchmark score on 2013 Nexus 7?

I recently bought a 2013 Nexus 7, which is my first tablet and first Android device. Im curious if something might be wrong with its performance, because I have seen a few people who used the Antutu benchmark and scored almost 20,000. However when I ran the benchmark three times it never scored above 18,400. I even tried running it after a reboot with all extra apps closed and it didn't make a difference. Is this normal or is something wrong with the device?

I just did mine with 19000 score. After second benchmark I got 18600 points
