I received my Nexus 10 yesterday, but when I used the same OTG cable and flash drive that served me so faithfully on the N7, it wouldn't work. The 16Gb flash drive contains the same variety of music, videos as before, but the N 10 won't recognize it like the N7. Why is that?

I don't have a nexus 10, but flash drives can be finicky. You may want to format the drive (a third party program like EASEUS Partion Master works well). Just be sure to back up the drive to your PC before formatting.

Thanks, rhea. I downloaded a free copy of EASEUS, but I'm not familiar with how it works. I emptied the flash drive of the few songs and videos it contained and it's plugged into the PC. What steps do I take next?

I solved my problem by changing the Advanced Sharing settings on the USB stick. I think it's odd that it worked on N7, but not N10, but, as I said, it's working fine, now. Thanks for the support, all.
