Is this the end of Google updates for the Nexus 7 2012?

Notably missing from the devices getting the 4.4.1 update is the Nexus 7 (2012).
Looks like Google decided that the Nexus 7 was close enough to their own 18 month imposed limit on updates to toss it overboard (the 18 month anniversary of it's announcement would be on December 27th of this year).

Not necessarily. The last update was, until I see more OTAs, only for the LTE models (that is, N4, N5, N7'13-LTE).

Edit: oh, I see they have a .zip for the N7 '13 Wi-Fi model now....

I also received the 4.4.2 update this evening. My Nexus 7 seems faster, the original update to Kirkwood really killed it's performance.

I also just got the update, not much difference performance wise as far as I can tell from playing around with the n7 these last few minutes... It did break root, so I'm just getting ready to re-root..

There was no 4.4.1 update for the N7. It went from 4.4 to 4.4.2, which is mainly fixes.
