Why isn't my Nexus 7 charging?

AC Question

Nexus 7 not charging. Have tried 3 diff chargers.

I am not a tech person. I cannot open up a tablet and mess around inside it. Google apparently will not let anyone do it for me (Batts Plus can't even sell the battery). So do I just throw it away and never try another Android? Just buy a Kindle (I can at least return a Kindle to Amazon).

Are you using the OEM cable and wall adapter as one of the three? Did the tablet turn off due to lack of battery? How long have you tried each charger? What are the amperage ratings of each charger?

Re: Nexus 7 not charging. Have tried 3 diff chargers.

now with these tablets are getting older a lot of them are experiencing problems with the Micro USB port. I had the same issue, purchase a standard micro USB port with headphone jack - swapped them out and it hasbeen running great ever since.
Worth looking into.
also sometimes the battery connection can come undone or become loose where it connects to the motherboard. pop the back off of it and take a look.
