Just got the new N7 and it is great (annoyed MX Player and Dice do not work yet but that is to be expected)
Now I have a Skiva MHL Micro USB to HDMI connector from my wife's phone. It does not work at all. So I was not sure if it is just because it is not made by Slimport or what.
What I want is to mirror the tablet to the TV for videos (using a video player that utilizes a Pogoplug app, lets go Dice and MX) and maybe some gaming.
The options now are as follows:
The Slimport brand adapter Amazon.com: SlimPort? SP1002; Connect mobile devices to any big screen. High Speed micro USB (male) to HDMI (female) connector cable (4.26cm x 2.21cm x 0.99cm)-Supports Full HD and 3D at 1080p @60Hz, 24bpp: Electronics ($30)
OR this Belkin Univeral Wireless HD adapter: Amazon.com : Belkin Universal Wireless HDTV Adapter : Electronics ($30)
Does anyone know if this thing works for this. Someone commented that Miracast works on the tablet, but I have never used it, nor have any Miracast receivers.
Also: I noticed in the settings an option to turn on "Wireless Displays" any insight into what that is would be appreciated. Thank you.
