Long story short, abandoned hope on PlayBook and grabbed a Nexus 7 last week.

I have a bunch of PlayBook chargers around home and office, is it okay to use the 1.8 amp charger on the device over long term?

Or do I replace all my chargers?

The device regulates the amperage, not the charger. As long as the charger works, it works, and isn't going to over-charge or otherwise hurt your N7.

Ive been having problems charging with some chargers while the device is on. When its off, no problem. But for some reason, it seems my motorola chargers don't work while the tab is powered up.

What amperage are they rated for? Seems odd that they would work off & not on. I'm wondering if they're too low amperage to keep up or something...
