Does anyone know of any active styluses that work well with the Nexus 7? I've tried the amPen New Hybrid Stylus. It's a passive one and doesn't work very well for note taking. From the posts I've seen, none of the passive pens do well in that situation.

If a tablet doesn't have a digitizer made for an active stylus, then they won't work. You'll need a capacitive stylus (one of the usually stubby crayon-type styli that mimics the human finger.) My S Pen (wacom technology on Samsung) does not work on my ThinkPad Tablet (TPT) nor my Nexus 7 2012, and my TPT's stylus, an N-Trig one with an AAAA battery inside does not work on my Galaxy Note nor my Nexus 7.

My collection of capacitive styli, however, work on them all -- as do my fingers.
