    Some of my favorites are:

Dots - Time wasting puzzle game
    Asphalt 8 - Racing Cars
    PBA Bowling - Bowling
    Riptide 2 - Racing Jetski's

There are a few new ones that I want to try, but more than I have time for at the moment.

You could try some emulators like 'Frodo' a Commodore 64 emulator.
You have to download games also like Jumpman and chopper ect.

    Shooters:
    • GTA 3 / Vice City (you should most certainly have a controller)
    • DeadZone (online multiplayer)
    • Dead Trigger (FPS zombie game)

    Racing:
    • Asphalt 8 (Gets pay2win after the first 2 "seasons")

    RPG:
    • SoulCraft
    • Dungeon Defenders (tower defense/RPG hybrid)
    • Arcane Legends (F2P MMORPG)

A friend had an Amiga back in the day. Now I'm thinking Lemmings would be fun on a 7"-10" tablet.

If you like DS games drastic emulator is a good one for the N7. Also like someone else said the walking dead assault game is great too.

the emulators are really good, i currently use one for the N64 and Gameboy colour. Other than this Plague inc is a good stratagy ( if you like wiping out the human race with you own illness) and kingdom ruch is well worth the 60 odd pence ( one dollar)

No, but it helps. Android has native controller support via OTG as of 4.1 or 4.2 (I use a wired Xbox 360 controller) but the game itself also has to support the controller. Not too many games support them at the moment, but I think that will increase over time.

However, if you do root, you can get controller support for almost any game through different apps.
    Aredubu likes this.

Asphalt is a great one... If you want to download some free ones then Beach Buggy Blitz is a good one indeed.

I use the Moga controller I purchased at Best Buy. You can use it practically for any game. It even comes with a stand for tablets. Works great!

My current games on my N7:

    MAME4droid Reloaded
    SuperN64 emulator
    Paper Monsters
    Asphalt 8
    Real Racing 3
    Shadowgun: Dead Zone

Look "Master of Limpich" in Google Play (download free) inspired by Lemmings
