disabled pulsing light is still on?

i disabled the pulse notification light, but it seems that the light will still go on once in a while?

or does that option only disable the light to pulse?

So you went to the Settings options > Display > and shut off the Pulse Notification light correct?

Have you tried rebooting your Nexus 7 tablet to see if that made a difference?
Thinking maybe like a computer, it just needs a bit of a restart to correct any anomalies or reset some functionality.

i shut it down, and restarted it. it still is flashing me the light. something is wrong. i think.
