MapMyRun work with Nexus 7 wifi only?

I don't have one, it should work (it does on my nexus 4) but the GPS won't work perfect.
Curious to why your running with a n7 though (presuming its to just check up on your history)

I have a Win8 phone and the mapmyrun app is not so great for it. I have a N7 I just got and was thinking since the Android app is much better than maybe I could use that to track my walks/runs. I just did not know if it would work with the wifi only, I was thinking yes since GPS still works but wanted to see if anyone else had actually use it.

That is a GPS receiving chip, it won't transmit the info back without a connection. As a matter of fact, the app says "Turn off wifi before you start, to improve battery life and GPS accuracy. " It wants a cellular connection. Having said that, it seems compatible with my Nexus 10 so my guess is you can still use it for data tracking as it will sync to your account when you are in wifi range and pick up whatever your Win* phone uploaded.
