i set it to sleep at 15 seconds. it is still on after a few minutes. i shut it down and restarted it. it is still the same thing.

two more questions.

1 is there anyway to restart instead of power off?

2. the daydream function doesn't seem to work. i can't see how i can set how many minutes it should wait before it starts to "daydream"?

I think the daydream function is tied to your sleep.....so if that's not working, I don't think the daydream will work.

Have you tried to switch the sleep to another setting, save it, then switch it back? Or it's possible you have an app running that is preventing the tablet from going to sleep.

Have you cleared the system cache partition recently?

  1. If your tablet is on, power it off.
  2. Press and hold Power until the device powers on, then immediately press and hold Volume Down (while still pressing Power). You will see the word Start with an arrow drawn around it.
  3. Press Volume Down twice to designate Recovery mode.
  4. Press Power to restart into Recovery mode. You will see an image of an Android robot with a red exclamation mark.
  5. While holding down Power, press Volume Up.
  6. In the Recovery Menu, highlight "Wipe cache partition" and execute.
  7. When done, Reboot System Now.
