Nexus 7 Tablet (2013) Won't turn on!

Hi All,

I let my Nexus run out of battery completely and didn't get around to charging it for about a week (I'm afraid I just don't use it much).

Now when I tried to charge it and turn it on it simply refuses.

Does anyone know if I have completely broken the thing or can it be fixed?

Any info much appreciated!

Hello,

Make sure its got some charge in it then try Power + Volume Up together and hold for about 5-7 seconds. It should make the device do a soft reset (no it won't erase anything).

Try what I did after calling Google tech support:

1. Unplug it.
2. Plug it back in.
3. Then just hold the power button down. For me it took about 10 seconds, but tech support said it could take up to a minute.

Voila - it was back.
