Is it your default launcher?
Yes I woke up with the tablet at 91 percent with on screen time at 30 minutes I think I should have probably tested at 100 percent to see what I can't get out of it. At 100 percent watching Netflix at 10 percent brightness how many hours roughly is average? Just not use to this battery life on my nexus 7 cause I'm use to my iPad 2 which i get 14 hour battery life on screen

I don't think Nova should be using that much battery. Whenever I see that pattern on a battery graph, I usually think that there's some app that's gone a little haywire. Reboot usually clears the problem, but if it keeps recurring, you might have to try uninstalling Nova or whatever other app seems to be using the most battery.

Something is weird, because I have never seen it appear on the battery use list on my Nexus 7 2013 running Nova.

about how many hours of on screen time should you get when browsing the web? i have on screen 3h52m with 35 percent battery life left at about 10 percent brightness maybe less. netflix used 3h28m and rest was browsing the web. does that seem like normal battery life. I've read people getting like 9 hours on the tablet.

If you used Netflix for over 3 hours I would say that is pretty good. Only using internet at 10% brightness I get average of 8 hours screen on time.

i feel like sometimes the on screen time is wrong and doesn't record it correct sometimes. I watched netflix for about 5 hours and battery was at 14 percent. For some reason when i web browse i don't get much time i feel like when i watch netflix i get longer battery life unless the on screen time isn't recording correctly when I'm web browsing.

I haven't noticed any discrepancies in the screen on time shown and actual on time. I really don't pay too much attention though to be honest. I think 5 hours of Netflix with 14% still remaining isn't that bad however.
