Should I upgrade to Kit Kat on my Nexus 7 (2013)?

My nexus 7 2013 is running jelly bean and after reading some of the issues with kit Kat do you think I should upgrade now or wait for the next release that's supposed to fix the random shutdowns (which I get)?

I have had no problems whatsoever with kit Kat 4.4.2. I would say update.

I put off doing the upgrade for months but last week I let it install and I haven't had a single problem.
