So first off, i know that Android L is a developer preview and would have some issues here or there. some apps would crash and what not, I got that. i have had L on my Nexus 7 since day 2 with minimal problems at all. Last night at work i turned my tab on to find a static screen and nothing worked. i could hear it unlocking, but it was just static. after about an hour trying to get some of the screen, it came too but with all the colors off and running extremely slow. When I say slow, I mean i would press an app and it would take anywhere from 3-9 minutes to pop up if at all. I can't get it to go into the bootloader to get back to 4.4.3 or anything. As of right now, this Nexus is rendered useless to me and I HATE THAT!!!! if anyone has any insight for me i would appreciate it. Thanks

I would suggest getting off the Android L if possible as it seems to be very bugged out for you.

Sent from my T-Mobile Note 3 using AC Forums.

Can you factory reset the unit? I have had to do that a few times with "L". Once you get it running you can see if you can figure out the sequence of events that caused this issue. Perhaps it was running a specific app or service that used a lot of memory.

As you know this is an developer preview, so it is pretty unstable. Maybe once this version get's to Beta it will be more stable.

Most of my techie buds have reverted back to KitKat because I'm afraid there really is no option for you to depend on making the Dev preview satisfying enough stability wise to be a daily driver
