Hi! I received the Lollipop OTA update on my nexus 7 2013 yesterday. I was a bit busy at that time so decided to update it today. But when I checked the update moments ago, it was gone!! Simply gone!! Just like that!!! Is the update pulled off or something??
I received the update around 8pm GMT yesterday, and it vanished around 8:20 am GMT today!

Same here! I guess it was pulled for some reason.

If they pulled it you might be lucky you did not install it.

Strange! I received the OTA update yesterday and installed it on my 2013 Nexus 7 running Nova Launcher Prime. So far everything I have tested runs fine under 5.0. I have noticed it takes longer to boot but I have a header widget that takes a while to load. Prior to 5.0 the system would boot and then load the header; running 5.0 everything is fully loaded before the boot completes.

Got and installed the 5.0 version yesterday on my N7 2013 32 GB and so far everything is fine. Love some of the new screens.

Reading other threads leads me to believe that there are a bevy of issues with the update. Perhaps Google is throttling back.

Updated mine yesterday afternoon. The only issue I have found is the Barnes&Noble Nook app crashes. This is apparently a Nook issue and not a Lollipop issue.

I had the same problem. Downloaded the 500+ MB update, clicked "reboot and install", and now it says I'm running the latest release ... 4.4.4. :(

Updated my N7 2013, 32 GB, WiFi only yesterday and everything has more snap.

Does take longer to boot to the lock screen but all the apps are ready to go as soon as you swipe past as posted above.

Will have to get used to the new unlock sequence and the pull down curtain.

The wugfresh toolkit will get you lollipop. You need to just download the software to your pc and follow the steps.. Easy as possible!! I

Got my ota last night, don't seem to have any issues. Wiped cache partition as it was a bit jittery. Ok now.

OP, you're probably lucky you didn't install right away. I did install the Lollipop OTA and now having problems. Whenever I try to play a video, whatever app I'm using will instantly close. Also my screen will dim slightly at irregular times and then at some later time, brighten back to normal. Some apps won't start or function. Ugh.

On your display issue - is Adaptive brightness turned on under display settings? Also, sometimes clearing the cache partition can help app issues:

My lollipop update finally came through yesterday on both my nexus 5 and 7. Everything was fine on my phone but my tablet was half way through installing, had restarted and now has got stuck for the last 24 hrs on the spinning balls. If I power down it restarts the same. It stained of power last night but when I recharged it it is still the spinning balls. Grateful for any help oh android community!!!!
Thanks, Ade

Looks like those who flashed the nexus 7 seem to face little problems compared to those who got the OTA. As far as I know, Lollipop replaces the runtime from Dalvik to ART permanently. This seems to be the cause for slow boot time and app incompatibility etc. etc. Anyways, I think I'll go for the flash. My nexus needs a refresh. My warranty ended 6 months ago.

From what I've seen on XDA, the majority of issues are from a flashed update.

Be glad they pulled it before you got it because I updated and now I can't watch any videos on youtube the web the playback just is not working at all.

I tried sparksd's suggestions, adaptive brightness was turned on so I turned it off. Then I cleared the cache partition, but I still have video problems and apps randomly closing. Thanks for trying to help!
