Default Zagg screen protecter on...Less touch response.

So I just recieved my Zagg screen protector for my Nexus 7. Have it on all lined up nice. Excited to have it on to help protect my screen. Since I've turned it back on the touch response is bad. Trying to type i have to press the screen 2 and 3 times for it to register. So i turned it off and just going to let it sit for awhile. If it keeps up I guess will have to naked as far as screen protectors go.

Never understood the need to cover a glass screen with a thin layer of optically inferior and often expensive plastic. I've never scratched any of my many glass screened devices

Screen protectors, not necessary. Just a screen. If it's the wet install invisibleSHEILD then give out 24-48 hours so the liquid can evaporate and the touch response should improve. Good luck.

Well you are like me and we take care of our devices. There are people that wind up with scratched or broken screens out of sheer neglect. Since the creation of Gorilla glass I stopped using screen protectors and the screens on my devices are in excellent condition. The display on the N7 unfortunately isn't Gorilla Glass and I again decided to put a screen protector on it. I will never use products like Zagg because the rubbery feel and orange peel texture completely destroy the aesthetics of the glass display. At least with regular screen protectors, you cant see or feel them.

OP you might have to let the water in your screen protector dry. If that doesn't work it might be the glue used to stick the display to the glass thats causing interference and if that's the case you might be SOL.

I've had my Zagg IS on for almost 2 weeks. Responsiveness can be a little sluggish at times.
    But my screen looks great.

What are you using? Used to Gorilla glass as well and nervous about this device as I use it so much

    Lovin' my Nexus 7
