Official Case Mod Question.

So I just received my Nexus 7 case in the mail and I was considering two option.

Find a small magnet and cut a recess in the flap to super glue the magnet into and create a sleep/awake case.
Cut the flap off using an exacto-knife and just have a normal case and use a screen protector.

Thoughts, Suggestions and/or other Ideas are greatly appreciated.

I'm not necessarily disappointed in the case. Also I won mine so it was free, hence I'm so willing to cut and alter it.
