Hi guys... I tried search but all I found was extended batteries for phones. Tried online too and came up empty handed.

What I'm wondering is if anyone makes an extended battery of any kind for the Nexus 7 tablet. A built-in one would be best, but anything that attaches to the tablet somehow would work... even a case with a built-in battery.

Does such a thing exist?

Loving this tablet, after a long hiatus from Android I'm pleased to be back.

There are plenty of universal batteries out there that would plug in and recharge/extend the charge of the N7, but I'm not aware of anything built into a case, or an aftermarket internal battery.

I don't know the built-in battery for N7. But I use the normal for my N7. It works well. Maybe it will be helpful for you.

Haven't seen any battery-pack cases for the N7, and I doubt there will be one in the future. That's the one great thing about Apple--a handful of devices at a time, vs. hundreds upon hundreds of Android devices. Even the S3, arguably the most popular Android smartphone, doesn't even have as many device-specific accessories as an iphone. Battery cases are usually for phones anyway.

If you like to travel light don't need like 10 hours worth of extra battery, they make fairly small external batteries--I carry around a 2800mAh one the size of a tube of lipstick, for my smartphone on the off-chance I forget to charge it or something.

We travel a lot and we have found New Trent can charge G7, Samsung III and Wife iPad back to 100% and still have more charge to it.

Pops in backpack, Wife purse or brief case easy..
