Where is the Nexus 7 shipping from??

I got my shipping tracking number at 2am this morning. It shows no info for up to 24 hrs. Anyone get any info about the shipping location? Since it is 2 days shipping, I suppose they would not deliver it in less than 2 days even if it ships close to my home. I live about 10 mins from Google, but they will be coming from somewhere else. It looks like it won't be until Weds to receive it. O'boy O'boy I can't wait!!

I believe Google uses UPS logistics services, so my guess is that the devices will ship from some of the major UPS logistics HUBS around the US
I received my UPS tracking # this morning at 2am as well, I can't track it yet but it shows for delivery by end of day Monday

I received my "Order has Shipped" email also at 10 cst but I dont see anywhere it saying expected delivery date. When I pre-order the EVO 4g LTE it also came 2nd day air from UPS but it took 3 total days. I hope I get this before Wednesday, I cant wait. It feels like forever already.

i got an email saying mine shipped but the tracking number isnt even in the system yet, just says it cant find it.

I've lost so much confidence in everything Google says that I just canceled my Nexus 7 pre-order. I'll wait to see what competitors' Tegra 3 tablets are like.
Details:
- I pre-ordered Nexus 7 on July 7
- On July 13 my bank account was charged.
- Also on July 13 the Google wallet web site gave me a UPS tracking number, saying the details would be available from UPS in "up to 24 hours" (not "one or more business days," which possibly might have been true).
- As of July 15, UPS hasn't been given any info from Google. At first, they tried to blame it on UPS (Google customer service agent Natasha and supervisor Roma Reeves). I confirmed that UPS has still not received even my name and address from Google.
- Even though Google's web site says it won't charge bank accounts until it has actually shipped devices, it charged mine two days ago and hasn't shipped yet.
- Another Google customer service agent (Cameron) said I could guarantee a refund of the shipping fee (in addition to product cost & taxes) by refusing UPS delivery, if Google is unable to stop the shipment. Just FYI.

Google does a good job with search, but maybe that's about it. They tell their employees "don't be evil," but apparently they tolerate treating customers pretty badly. I won't be buying any devices from Google Play for quite a while.

It's the weekend most ups hubs are not up and running. I got my tracking number sat at 2am. Didn't know if got till this morning and it's sunday.

Don't be surprised its at your doorstep Monday. And get updates tonight on Sundays.

No offense but I don't understand the complaining from people who ordered a week into July. There are people - myself included - that preordered on the 27 & 28 that have heard nothing at all.

I signed up a while ago with the MY UPS tracking and I recieved an email from UPS stating it is schedule to be delivered on Monday, but I will be happy with tuesday. I agree and dont understand about the complaining, it is about to be delivered over the next few days, canceling now makes no sense, and what other tablet is going for the same prive / value point? everyone has their own opinion, but if you pre-order knowing it was a few weeks out, and you received notice / charged on Friday, 2 to 3 buisness days is the norm.

Mine shipped from Northern IL (I'm in WI). It arrived at UPS in my city on Saturday and is out on the truck now for delivery. I'm hanging out here on these boards waiting for the darn thing. I HOPE for some strange reason that UPS will not make me the last delivery of the day which seems like it usually does or close to it. I did find out it by calling UPS they will not require a signature. Normally everything I order from Staples is sent by a Staples Courier and arrives the next day but not so in this case.

According to some people here, a preorder doesn't mean you'll get one this year. It only means you will get one eventually.

Maybe for UPS Ground. 3 days is late if the customer is charged for 2 day shipping.

If I were you, I would keep all this info to yourselves. When the Kindle first shipped out, in Amazon boxes, there was a lot of theft because people knew what to look for. Many customers never received their Kindle and had to re-order. Mums the word you guys!

I would have thought that these devices would have come from Taiwan into a west coast port.

UPS's Int'l air hub is in Louisville, KY. All Int'l shipments go through LOUKY. If it was sent by boat it would end up at a west coast port, but that would take an additional 30 days of sailing time. Trust me, you want it to go through LOUKY, UPS air knows what it is doing.

I had a scheduled delivery of 7/16 but now my UPS got updated for 7/17 delivery. Since I'm in Vegas I won't get my hopes up of it being delivered tomorrow if it's coming from Louisville.
