The link you posted says the glass is lifted by 1 mm, which is a lot. I have to report I don't see any of that... the glass on my N7 is flush all around and I can't detect any sponginess.

Might not be relevant but I had the spongy lifted glass on my iPad 2. When I'd push down then lift off you could hear the glass popping off the glue. They replaced it immediately. It's definitely a defect.

mine having same issue.. i held it for 30min while i was playing dead trigger it seems fine now.. hopefully it doesnt pop back up...not a huge issue but if it does happen again ill probly go get it replaced

The first Nexus 7 I received had a bad speaker, I just got my replacement Nexus 7 and it has the screen separating issue right out of the box. So now I have to send that back so they can try and send me a 3rd unit. Not good, not good at all very unhappy

some people are saying you can just hold it down for 10 minutes and it'll say, i hope mine doesnt come like this.
