Wrong unit in box?
ok, so i picked up a N7 at staples last night, opened it today and found it's an 8gig, the receipt says its a 16gig...... wth?
anyways, im going to call staples when i get a steady break at work and see what they can do for me. im fine with an 8gig but they should refund me the difference or refund me alltogether until they get 8gigs in. - 07-18-2012, 12:46 PM #2
Re: Wrong unit in box?
That's $50 you're out. I'd definitely get that sorted. Was the box sealed? The inner box is sealed with two circular black stickers.

Re: Wrong unit in box?
What does the label on the box say?
The 3rd line from the bottom has the size at the end -- mine says "xxxxx 16gb EMMC" and I got the 16gb in the box.
There is another thread with questions about why the box was opened prior to us receiving the unit... did your box have the double tape?
So the question is.,.. did you just get the wrong box or was the wrong unit in your box?
Either way, I'd be heading back over to Staples... - 07-18-2012, 01:14 PM

Re: Wrong unit in box?
Box was sealed with the two pieces of black tape, called staples, they're exchanging it today when i can get over there. I guess ASUS misboxed it, the box shows 16GB as well.

Just tell them to give you another 8gb one and you'll call it even
