Default Nexus 7 8gb for Asus Transformer Prime?

Quick question,I have an offer on the table for my 8gb Nexus 7. The guy wants to trade a 32gb Transformer Prime with the keyboard dock and a case. This sounds like a deal worth considering but I want to make sure the Transformer is worth it. I've owned a plethora of Android tablets and I really like the Nexus 7 so far. I prefer the 7" form factor because it's so comfortable to hold when reading books and web surfing. I like the added size of the 10" tablets for productivity and watching movies. Would you make the trade?

it sounds like a good deal, but ask him what the reason he wants to switch. the prime is a slightly better (and much more expensive) tablet. in fact, it is one of the bests other than the (ipad) avalable.

he might want to trade becuse his prime is broken. i would be wary, just keep the nexus unless you are feeling lucky.

I wouldn't do it. Like the Nexus 7, there were a fair number of primes that shipped with issues. if you have a good Nexus 7, I'd hang onto it. IMHO, it's not worth the risk of getting a bad device.

I have a Prime but have not even touched it since i got the Nexus 7. Just depends on what you use it for. The main advantage to me that the Prime offers over the Nexus 7 is HDMI out. The dock is nice but I haven't used it near enough to justify the $150 purchase price. Unless you need a device that offers those two things or just want a bigger screen I don't think I would trade.

The value is great for the trade but i had a prime and i think that the nexus is far better, this thing is just so smooth and fast.. I dont know if its jelly bean or what but its fast.
