Default Nexus 7, Great Device and love the free stuff

Thanks Google and Asus for building a device that fits in my hand. I love the screen, speed and build quality. I remember the days of messing with my nook color to get a device in this form factor. Theres no doubt 7" is the best portable " carry in my back pocket" form factor, another big point is you kept the price great so people can afford it. A big thanks for giving me $25 to spend in the store where I bought another movie and some music, Dont forget the 10$ you threw in to buy myself lunch, and a Transformers movie to watch while eating and plenty of books and music to keep me happy for a while. Once you add in the free stuff its like paying $150 for the $249.00 device. After playing with it for several days now I really cant find a bad point to complain about the device except the shipping problems some of the others faced. So heres to you google for showing that a company can build a good product, give away some free stuff and prove that not everything decent in the tablet world has to cost 499.99 and come with nothing.

I'm really happy with my Nexus 7 as well. I feel like right now its this little awesome secret gadget that few people know about. I wonder if there will be day where I see several other Nexus 7s on my bus ride to work... Right now I just get curious stares

New to this forum. And I just picked my 16gb from Staples yesterday. I couldn't believe that they actually had a few in stock. But I am really loving the Nexus.

I walked around our mall here,in deep South Texas, with my N7 and people had the strangest looks on their face, lol.

I was so deep into the device I walked into a wall LOL.

This thing is so great, but I'm tired of some forum people saying it's a glorified e-reader, set up a destination in Navigation, shut off wifi, get in your car, and listen to the glorified e-reader take you to your destination.

I want to take mine everywhere but I am scared I am going to drop it or scratch it. Ordered a case the other day should be here tomorrow or Tuesday then this baby won't leave my side. The free stuff is great. I love the fact that I can be looking at a magazine go to work hop on my GNex and it is right where I left off. I was thinking about buying a satchel (man purse) to carry my N7 and skittles around in what do you all think.

I'm enjoying it so far. It's a lot easier to type on than my transformer.

If you feel you need a "man purse" go for it, LOL.

Didn't check to see where you're located, but Staples here in the USA has just started selling the cases for the N7, starting at $19.99.

After 24 hours, loving mine too! Can't wait to spend some real quality time with it over the next week or so. Hoping to have a case and screen protector soon so that my new toy can travel with me daily!

I got a cover at Big Lots of all places. It may be a heftier, thicker one than some want though. Not pocket friendly, but fine in my bag.

Loving my N7 too. Coming to you from my N7

I just picked up a zippered case at Big Lots for like $3 myself. The Nexus7 is alittle loose inside and it has a side pocket also zippered. Seemed all good till my wife says as we were leaving Big Lots " How cute you have your own clutch."

You should see what people do when you put the tablet up to your face to act like you're making a call.

I bought mine yesterday at Microcenter here in Michigan. Guy told me as far as Internet orders I was his first at 5pm and they had 23 in stock.

I wanted this when it was under Asus name and was going to be released in March. I feel it's well worth it.

Huh... just checked the Microcenter website and selected that same store. I searched for "Nexus 7," and it returned nothing.

My father-in-law picked up a Pandigital Planet that I recently hacked Android on to for him. He keeps it in a make-up bag with flowers on it. He's not the kind of guy you'd catch carrying around a make-up bag, but it works great for storage.
